Cross Promotion – Calling Australian Teachers and Students

Shameless promotion time – a group of Year 3/4 students at my school are looking at Australia’s Heritage listed sites – Kakadu, Barrier reef, Shark Bay, Macquarie Island, Willandra Lakes etc.

They are considering the significance of these sites and looking at what makes them special and worth maintaining.   As part of their investigation they want to know other sites that people believe are significant.  We have created a blog so that people can suggest places they think are important (see the criteria on the blog).

Any Aussie educators who happen upon this blog are hereby invited, encouraged, requested, cajoled and kindly requested to stop by and make a comment !!!  Thanks in anticipation. (and thanks to Anne M for getting the ball rolling)

Our Places, Our Heritage
